how to Upload Video with Hudl Mercury

• 1. Click Add under Media Files.

• 2. Select the files you want to upload and click Open. Click here for your next steps.

• 3. Edit and Review Video

Review the video you’re upload­ing. Select a clip from the left to review. You can edit the video once it’s uploaded or edit in Mercury. You can make the fol­low­ing changes to your clips:

1. Split Clips: If you’d like to split a clip into two sep­a­rate clips, play the clip to the loca­tion of the split in the video play­er and then click Split Clip Here.
2. Delete Clips: If you’d like to delete a clip, click on the clip and then click Delete Clip.
3. Merge Clips: If you’d like to merge two clips into a sin­gle clip, click the Combine with Previous or Combine with Next but­ton while play­ing a clip..

• 4. Organize & Share Your Video

1. Use the drop-down to select which team’s video you’re uploading.

2. Choose the cat­e­go­ry of video you’re uploading.

3. Use the drop-down to select the cor­rect season.

4. Select a sched­ule entry to upload the video to or click Add a new game or event to cre­ate a new sched­ule entry.

5. Click Save & Upload this Video to Hudl​.com.

• 5. Publish Video

A progress box will appear with the cur­rent sta­tus of the import:

1. Encoding: Shows the progress of encod­ing your raw video into video usable on Hudl​.com.
2. Uploading: Shows the progress of upload­ing your encod­ed video to Hudl​.com.

After upload is com­plete, click All Done Take Me Back to the Start.
